“I have worked in school settings applying clinical therapy with children and adolescents. As a clinician in middle schools and private practice, I have developed a comprehensive skill set that equips me to address the diverse challenges faced by children and adolescents, and young adults. I am knowledgeable in identifying social emotional, and total wellness needs within a clinical, school, or family setting. I am adroit in applying, CBT, DBT, Client Cantered, Family Therapy and Play Therapy. I operate from a strength based perspective and most often collaborate efforts with resources available and wanted by the family or individual to bolster the effectiveness of my work. I deeply understand the interplay between school and home.

I have always had the passion to help others and their families. I love being an integrated part of a young person’s life as they face their challenges and to help them grow and develop as best as they can. Most of my experience is with youth and young adults who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, peer relationships issues, and self-esteem issues. I strive to have positive and impactful relationships with clients by building therapeutic alliance through empathy, compassion, patience, and kindness. Therapy can be life changing especially for a young person. I believe parents play a vital part in their child’s therapy journey and I intend to strengthen parent-child relationships and, when needed, incorporate the family. I strive to be that person for others.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in School Social Work from Lewis University in Romeoville. Apart from my work I enjoy spending time with family and friends doing a variety of activities. I also volunteer my time with Healing Hearts Comfort Dogs in Romeoville where we certify dogs as therapy and support animals.”

Fun Facts Q&A

If you had a super power what would it be and why?
Staci said, “To be able to talk to animals. I am a huge animal, especially dogs, lover and would love to be able to communicate with them. They always are able to comfort and support people without verbal communication, but I would love to know what they are thinking.”
