“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light” – Albus Dumbledore

Now, more than ever, the human need to connect is as fundamental a need as food, shelter, and oxygen. In a world that constantly demands more of ourselves, while reciprocating so little in return, anxiety, depression, burnout, isolation, and feelings of inferiority have seemingly become the rule, rather than the exception.  Every one of us has past experiences which have shaped us into the person we are today. Unfortunately, these experiences are not always positive, and can significantly impact us in various ways throughout our lifespans. Seeking therapy is the first step to a journey to a better understanding of ourselves. Creating a relationship built on trust, honesty, and vulnerability is the first step in a positive therapeutic outcome. I strive to create an environment built on compassion ,safety, kindness, humor, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. I believe in the human capacity for lifelong growth and change, and that this is best fostered when we are able to speak openly, honestly, intimately, and without fear of judgement or repercussion. Through a trauma-informed lens and client-centered approach, we will utilize our positive therapeutic relationship as the catalyst for change toward your healing, growth, and goal attainment. Our collaborative efforts are a partnership, with you in the driver’s seat and me in the passenger seat, supporting you, guiding you, and cheering you on throughout your journey.
